A lot of it has to do with the QB being back. He played really well the 2nd half of the year once he got his feet under him. But yea, I don't quite understand why they are a top 20 team.
It isn't like Cristobal's calling card is on the field coaching. He's going to stock the roster eventually, but he currently does not have a stocked roster.

Don't look now, but Kentucky has been the only east team with a top 25 pulse, beyond the dogs, for a number of years now. I'd say it's getting closer to more a tradition.

I don't understand the love for Miami. Mario had senior Justin Herbert and lost to true frosh Bo Nix at a neutral site. Got blown out twice last year by Utah.

I wouldn't have them there either. Year 1 of the Kelly era. This year is just laying the foundation for when he gets his players in. He's done a great job with the recruiting class.

I actually agree with the rankings for the most part, but it feels like bizarro world when a pre-season poll is without Auburn, Florida, AND LSU.
Also, weren't Texas and PSU ranked relatively high in the ESPN or coaches poll? And unranked here. Weird
