Who should be ahead of OSU?

IMO Baylor and Nebraska are a tad too high.

Lsu lost to an unranked team by 2 and dropped 20 spots. Then wisc jumps up to top 10. Osu loses by 3 to unranked team who isn't any good and drops 4. Sounds about right.....,

Someone posted the exact same thing on page 2. That was after week 1. This was after week 8. They are not the same.

Answer my question. Who should be ranked above Ohio State that isn't? Don't deflect.

Bullcrap

The average drop for teams losing is six spots unless you lose to a top ten team...The OSU team
took it on the chin from an unranked PSU...should have dropped two more spots.

That's not true. Our only losses have been to a top ten TAMU team and a number 1 BAMA team. While I agree that tOSU is about right and probably should've dropped a spot further there's been no rhyme or reason to the polls this year. And no, I'm not complaining about our ranking as that will work itself out but the early polls have been wild.

You used to be able to predict with more certainty how many spots a team would drop or climb. That's not true this year.

ETA: TAMU's loss to no 1 BAMA is a better loss than tOSU's loss to PSU. Losing to a top 10 team should in theory be less dramatic than losing to no one.

Auburn would destroy Florida.

ETA: And WVU, Nebraska, Baylor, FSU, Boise State.. Rankings are such a joke.

If you did remember it would be a problem seeing as they don't have one.

Well played. Apparently, much like pollsters I haven't paid attention to them. Oh well. At least, it's not a part of my job to pay attention.

We're not going to lose to LSU, We will beat LS WHO by 14 or more we are not worried about your Running back or QB or WR, Or Defense or Offense Line, Lets see LSWHO stop our QB, WE got the best defense in the SEC #1 Def-Line # 1 LBs #1 WRs we are going to run the table, then the SEC play offs, If its UT We win by 40 or More, We want Michigan is playoff game give Hair ball a look at what a football team is suppose to look like. When we get thru with them their new colors will be Bruise and Bruise,

Why the frick are we behind Oklahoma and Wisconsin? (UForfeit is a given)

Gotta disagree with you here as far as Wisconsin goes. Up until OSU's loss yesterday, Wisconsin's only 2 losses were to 2 top 4 teams; OSU and Michigan and each game was by less than a TD. Auburn lost to Clemson which is a really good team, and A&M. At the time the games were played Wiscy's losses look better than AU's.

Sad truth is teams like Alabama and Ohio State have to play their way out of the playoff whereas every other team has to play their way in

What do you mean by that?

The sad truth is that the better teams get ranked higher?

I'm confused.

Florida State has no business being in the top 20 with losing at home to UNC and the absolute arse whipping Louisville put on them.

Not sure how Houston is still ranked at all after their last 3 games...loss to Navy, barely squeaked by Tulsa, and dominated by SMU....SMU! They haven't been relevent since they were paying guys to play there
