I don't really care about other teams. I might cheer for a specific SEC team against a non-SEC team depending on how I feel about the individual teams.
But I'm also not going to lie about how good I feel a team is simply because I dislike them.
I hated UF when Meyer and Spurrier were there... but I'm not going to pretend those teams weren't good.

Really? So the majority of the SEC teams decided to hide the fact that Texas was going to be invited and wanted to hide that from the minority of teams in the SEC? I call bullshite. I never pulled for any SEC team except LSU and possibly Miss St.
During the season I only pulled for upsets in conference play not involving LSU.
Screw all the SEC.

I'll preface this by saying I am an old guy. When I was a kid i can remember sitting around the TV January 1 and watching Bowl games. It was a huge event for my family and family friends.
I loved watching Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, Ohio State, USCw, ND, Alabama, Michigan....we didn't care who was playing, we would just pick a team and pull for them.
That said, over the years I generally pull for SEC teams against the others, but have t admit, I pull harder for some than others....and always Georgia first.

With all the players opting out, it doesn’t really matter anymore. Pretty much a scrimmage game for next year‘s players.

I’ve been pulling for the SEC teams this bowl season. Has not panned out for me yet. Has anyone in this conference won a bowl game yet?
