Had Covid and flu at the same time last week. Haven’t been able to talk the last three days.

It’s kind of nice in the right situations

I couldn’t talk for like two days while I had OG Covid.

Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Didn't lose my voice, but when I was sick from something for a couple of weeks in December, I could do a perfect Karl Childers impersonation.
That was my 15 minutes of fame at work and at home.

I had a sore throat that was like the worse case of strep that I’ve ever had.

Mucinex, ginger tea with honey, Tylenol, and saline nose spray (helps with the sinus drip) worked great to get passed that part.

All I lost was my breakfast.

I have no idea what I had on Monday, but puked up lunch - started a low grade fever by afternoon and fever hung around for 24 hrs. Couldn’t eat all day Tuesday but no fever, slept nonstop. Went back to the office on Wednesday and felt ok. Stomach is still iffy so I’ve hydrated and stuck to carbs.

Got it back in October 2020, and only lost my taste and smell. I was drained only because I had nothing to do being stuck in the house for 2 weeks.

Never lost taste, but I still haven't recovered my sense of smell fully 2 years later.

Virus took over your body senses and made it to be a part of you. Sorry to hear about that.

Maybe it was God’s way of telling you that you post shite on the wrong board.

Not like an admin is going to do anything lol

*if this happens to be the one time an admin wants to take action, I’m just kidding
