Hogs beat gamecocks 12-2 and 12-3 in this series. 24-5. Bullpen still still sitting pretty. Got the brooms ready

Extremely good coach and recruiter. Huge analytics guy, makes all his decisions based on that. He literally looks for transfers that he thinks would benefit from Foley’s dimensions, and sells him on that.
His pitch to Kolby Branch was telling him that he would have a 12+ HR season after only hitting 6 at Baylor. He ended up hitting 18 last year.
And then yesterday he started Brennan Hudson at UF, our 3rd catcher, who was 0-5 on the year with no starts. There were 5 guys on the bench sitting above an .850 OPS with more AB on the year but Wes wanted Hudson. Sure enough, 2-Run HR in his first PA. Postgame, Wes just said he felt good about him in this ballpark.
I could definitely see him going back to Arkansas, hopefully DVH sticks around for awhile

I used to take pitching lessons from him when he was a high school coach in Sherwood, Arkansas. Great guy.
