Scoring Defense
1 Alabama 11.3
2 Florida 13.0
3 Auburn 18.8
4 LSU 22.0
5 South Carolina 22.7
6 Missouri 23.0
6 Mississippi State 23.0
8 Vanderbilt 26.5
9 Arkansas 27.6
10 Mississippi 27.8
11 Tennessee 28.0
12 Kentucky 29.3
13 Texas A&M 32.0
14 Georgia 33.7

So the team allowing 11.3 points a game gave up over 620 yards, 5 passing TDs, and 42 points to A&M.

Good Luck

The way I see it....

A&M's Offense > Auburn's Defense
Auburn's Offense > A&M's Defense

Homefield and Mistakes(turnovers, penalties, blown assignments, etc) will likely be the deciding factors.

Guess what? If a team throws the ball 60 times against us, they may put up some passing yards

Yeah, some are too obtuse to grasp this concept. AU's D is pretty good considering the offense, especially in the categories that matter to a HUNH team.

A&M by 21. DEF got kicked in the teeth at Ole miss and will rebound for their best game yet.

JFF>Auburn. Sorry, but you'll get us next year most likely.

No, Miss St. was more confident and had reason to be considering they were undefeated (before Bama).

Auburn is just "optimistic" and should be considering they're coming off such an awful season. Being ranked #24 is a big deal for them.

Good try. It doesn't mean shite, because if we don't win on Sat, we won't be ranked.

We are a MLB and a consistent passing game away from being able to walk out of CS with a win.

I would call being "optimistic" claiming that you are going to blow out a team that easily beat a team you had to come back to beat. Meanwhile the Auburn game was never tied after Auburn scored. Especially since you haven't stopped anyone all season and Auburn is better than any offense you have faced. Auburn's total defense may be down but Auburn Defense is good at plenty of important things. And thats despite, aside from WCU who didn't break 200 yards, the worst offense we have faced is averaging 400+ yards and 30 points a game and is in the top 10 in passing. But keep hanging every thing on us having gave up yards meaning yall are going to score all over us.

A&M had to come back down 10 points in 7 minutes to Ole Miss last year who was easily dispatched by Bama.

My memory is fuzzy but surely Bama beat A&M last year right?

Aggies aren't confident we will score on you because of anything about your defense, we are confident because we have scored on everyone. The last time A&M scored less than 40 was the Bama game, LAST year.

Auburn is much improved without question and has plenty of talent. The offense is far better than last year as well and our defense is more than suspect. Still, A&M's offense is ridiculously explosive and really has only stopped itself this season. There hasn't really been a defense that has caused us problems consistently.

Unless A&M has some turnovers and comes out flat I just don't see it but anything can happen.

Turnover Margin:

A&M - 27th Nationally, 2nd in SEC

Auburn - 85th Nationally, 10th in SEC

This is the first rational post in this thread. Should be a shootout, because EVERYONE's offense is better than our defense. Our offense is just considerably better than many expect.

You can dig up all the obscure stats in the world, but A&M is still gonna hang half a century. You just gotta hope you go for more.
