I understand why he can annoy the hell out of people, but he really is a good man. He lives in our area, and contributes a generous portion of his time to raising money for a variety of worthy charities. He also won't big time you if you approach him and say hello.

Vitale needs to be put out to pasture. He’s a caricature of himself and makes himself the topic. Just an awful color announcer.
They need to give him the Corso treatment. Give a few minutes on Gameday and move on.

Most basketball announcers are pretty bad. I feel like I'm watching the game with a bunch of people who are talking about random shite while I'm trying to pay attention to the plays. But Vitale takes it to another level. What an annoying douche.

If you tell me part of his job description is rooting for Duke at every opportunity, then I'll take back some of the curses I've laid on him over the years.
