Mizzou has a lot of similarities program wise to South Carolina in terms of resources and potential, perhaps a bit more.

A&M looks a lot like Florida in the '80s. The school with all the potential in the world and resources that somehow always seemed to have trouble living up to it. The question is if Sumlin can become A&M's Spurrier and no one knows.

It's an sec opener for both teams and it seems like Georgia-Mizzou is gonna be the better game.

This is in no way intended to be a flame. Just legit curiosity.

Gas prices are currently extremely high. They want to save money by just bringing everything to College Station from Dallas instead of going all the way to Missouri.

That has been mentioned about 3-4 times in this thread alone, but honestly I don't think anyone really GAF.

LOL. You beat the #1 ranked Little 12 team? Impressive. Did they finish #1 that year? I don't think so.

I hope you enjoyed your last Gameday in Columbia because now you are competing against great SEC matchups, Missouri vs. anybody will not be considered a great matchup, instead of piss poor matchups like OU/Kansas, Texas/Baylor, Texas Tech/OSU, Kansas State/Iowa State.

Missouri is a Pro Sports state first (Cardinals, Chiefs, Rams, Royals) followed closely by Kansas/Kansas State Fans, Illinois and then Missouri around # 8 in popularity. That’s why you won’t be getting any more Gamedays.

One of the stupidest things i've ever read. I've been stationed all over the country from NC To Hawaii now, just got back from Korea a week ago as well. One thing I see everywhere I go is Mizzou fan gear an apparel. Mizzou is no Alabama or LSU, but they do absolutely have a national following. You cannot say the same about Arkansas.

Because teams that only fill half their stadium don't get on game day?

Seeing Mizzou Championship t-shirts in a thrift store doesn't count.

I was wondering the same thing. Georgia and Missouri is a better matchup but ATM has more rabid fans that will show up in droves for Gameday.

To the Aggie that stated this isn't intended to be a flame...this isn't either.......

Gameday going there because this is one of the only chances they will ever have before the beatdowns begin....

As for Mizzou.....set the college game day attendance record when we beat Number 1 ranked Oklahoma in Columbia!

Mizzou atmosphere will rival any in the SEC this weekend...

Georgia vs Mizzou will be a great game and are both better teams....

Mizzou has beat A&M the last 3 years in a row ..two of which were at A&M..

Gameday is waiting for Mizzou vs Alabama game in Columbia for the return...

In spite of A & M’s lack or success over the years the Aggies have the following which makes them a good SEC fit and one that Gameday wants to be part of. • National TV Appeal • The State of Texas and a lot of college football fans • Tradition • A Passionate and knowledgeable Fan base • A coveted program that brings SEC passion deep into the heart of Texas. Missouri has had even less success than A & M and nobody really cares to watch the Tigers including their own "Fans". • No National TV Appeal • Little appeal to the fans even in the state of Missouri (KC has as many if not more Kansas and Kansas State Fans than they do Missouri and there are more Illinois Fans in St. Louis than there are Tiger Fans. • Have no tradition whatsoever • A weak and ignorant fan base. • Are not a coveted program and are more Big 10ish or Missouri Valleyish than they are SEC worthy. Missouri was an afterthought that the SEC settled on and they will be treated as such.

This guy is clueless,
I am OK with gameday going to A&M but when gameday was at Mizzou a few years back we set a record for the biggest gameday crowd.

As I recall, ESPN determined by online voting poll, and aTm fans largest base in conference!
