I thought the only big game Tunsil missed last year was the Auburn game?

But an OM win isn't as impossible as people are making out to be.

There are a few, but I was aiming that comment at a lot of our side freaking out.

Only a QB is harder to replace than a LT the caliber of Tunsil. It's why they get paid the way they do in the NFL.
I agree he's hard to replace and it's a big loss. However, his backup is a good LT (Fahn Cooper) and a fringe pro prospect.
Of course moving our starting RT to LT weakens the right side...

He probably won't be back. It's funny how people can get away with so much but the guy gets a loaner car for a car he had in the shop and minds are blown. Granted he kept it too long but isn't that a case between his insurance and the dealership or did the school get involved somehow?

This is the thing. You have a dropoff at LT, not huge, but still a dropoff. Then you likely have a huge dropoff at RT.
This going into the game against, arguably, the best front 7 in the conference.

Please tell me he actually had a car in the shop

I would imagine that 296lb TE Liggins helps out a lot on the right side

Fahn Cooper
With Tunsil out, it's not just that Cooper moves over to LT; it's also that Rawlings, a RS frosh, becomes our starting RT. And even though Cooper looks improved, don't forget that it was his totally whiffing on a block last year that led to Tunsil's leg getting broken from behind.
Tunsil was money at his position, every snap. Without him we need the rest of the O line to step up enough to allow Kelly to do his thing.

I'm hoping they're tired of hearing how bad they're gonna be without him and show up ready to go toe to toe.

It's such a leap from playing against the d-lines they have faced to maybe the best d-line in the country. It will be interesting to see how they adjust.

It really is amazing Ole Miss can get away with the Micheal Oher situation but not this situation

In fairness, they go up against a pretty good one in practice every day, but it's not the same

Me too. Our defense was like that two years ago against LSU. About half our starters were injured, going up against Mett and a pretty damn good offense, no one gave us a chance. Those guys rose up and played with some heart.
