Dude if this was a Gus malzhan offense with receivers running predictable routes and developing at a snails pace if at all, then I would agree with you and Mr. Brown. This however is a guy who can point to multiple dudes he put in the league who are actually still willing to vouch for him. I also think that when the system doesn't hamper the players ability to shine, then its up to the individual to find success. Calvin Johnson played at freakin Georgia tech and had a unbelievable NFL career because he's that dude. Hugh freeze was an Arkansas tight end lateral play from winning the west at Ole Miss, so what do you think he will do with Auburn resources? Oh and Antonio Brown played where? It's about the individual MOST of the time not the place. Perry Thompson could light it up at Vandy if he wanted to. Look at Jordan Mathews

He had two WRs drafted while he was head coach at Ole Miss. Metcalf and Brown played one year for him and were drafted two years later under a different head coach. Recruiter? No doubt. Development of WRs? Maybe a bit over stated.

But regardless. Thompson goes to Foley. He doesn’t need to talk to anyone beyond another Foley grad about playing WR at Alabama.

And he should 100% be talking to Julio for advice over Antonio fricking Brown.

Freeze has developed a hell of a lot of WR and QB talent… UAT hasn’t got s$&@ at QB this season either. Dude must have gotten concussed a few too many times

How many first round WRs and QBs has freeze developed?

And what exactly does Auburn have at QB for 2023? And why does that matter for a 2024 enrollee? Julian Sayin is coming in at QB for Alabama’s 2024 class.

There was Freeze's last year with Ole Miss he had:
Van Jefferson, Metcalf, Dawson Knox, AJ Brown, and Evan Engram.

I dont know if develops them or not but he can certainly put a sexy roster on the game program.

Still one of the greatest exits I’ve ever seen on a football field.

Treadwell was also another guy who was drafted. In no way am I questioning whether or not Bama receivers have been selected at a higher rate sir. I mentioned those players to show that even at a HISTORICALLY low level program like ole miss Hugh freeze won and had guys get picked high. Antonio spoke as if Perry would be crazy for committing to Auburn and Hugh freeze, but the results say otherwise. About the Foley comment, have you ever considered that maybe Perry doesn't want to be another in a long line? Many of these kids want to "Shock the world" or create their own legacy. My theory is that this kid has been hearing these same Julio Jones comparisons for years and he wants he wanted to blaze his own trail. Maybe he wants to be the first Perry Thompson and not the next Julio? I have no idea what he's thinking though.

Better than Bama, whether it be Thorne or Ashford.

And Walker White is coming in for Auburn.

Something tells me that after 16 years of Nick Saban, Alabama will find a way to have a competent QB in 2023.

I’ve never doubted that.
I feel good about our QB situation too with Freeze

Cooper fricking Bateman

That was a frustrating game. But turned the season around. Jacob Coker grabbed the starting QB job and never looked back.
