Now, this Ole Miss and State would have to worry about.
Dozens of former college athletes are asking top leaders at the NCAA to keep Mississippi from hosting college baseball regionals and women’s basketball tournament games until lawmakers change the state flag, which features the Confederate battle emblem.
The 31 former college athletes, including Jackson State and NBA great Lindsey Hunter, sent the letter on Thursday to top leaders at the NCAA, which oversees athletics of the nation’s colleges and universities. The athletes called the flag “a symbol that has terrorized generations” and “a known symbol of oppression, division and hate.”
College baseball is immensely popular in Mississippi, and the state’s big three universities — Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Southern Miss — regularly host postseason tournaments. Additionally, Mississippi State has hosted several women’s basketball tournament games in recent years.
“We believe it will finally push Mississippi lawmakers to join civic leaders and the business community in solidarity to take action to de-sanction the current Mississippi state flag,” the athletes wrote.

Played with the Pistons, coached the Suns. Played collegiately at Jackson State and was the 10th pick in the first round by the Pistons.
Now coaches Valley.

Lol what cucks. Mississippi should just change it to the actual Confederate flag like Georgia did, instead of the battle flag.

The proposal is an inverse of the Bonnie Blue flag, which was the flag raised over the state capital when Mississippi seceded.
It still appears on the Texas flag.

The whole nation has been gaslit by media and Hollywood to think that the Civil War was about good vs evil. About a benevolent force protecting the Union from a redneck invasion, when the opposite is the truth. It is a lot to overcome. But I refuse to be bullied by ignorant athletes who don't know history and are rewarded for their intense Black racial consciousness.

Honestly over this shite.
Change it. So people will shut up about this issue And we can move on to STILL being dead least in almost every meaningful category

Why did it take an isolated incident in Minnesota, completely missing any proof of racial motivation, for these brave and courageous men to speak out against the MS flag? Its characteristics sure haven't wavered in any relevant capacity.

“Time is of the essence”. Threatening institutions that have been providing education for all races. frick it. At this point pull all athletics and scholarships awarded to players and just focus on academics. That’s where we are headed anyway. I’m sure all the athletes can easily obtain a college education without sports and can easily gain admission to any school that they feel comfortable with.

How about some EQUITABLE 'quid-pro-quo'...I mean a REAL conversation...i.e. 1. confederate statues come down/states and Feds STOP paying for multiple minority illegitimate children 2. streets get re-named/no more racial bias hiring practices 3.flags get changed/ no more "favored bias racial groups" with EXTRA protections and state/fed $ 4. cops banned from shooting resisting felons/same felons STOP committing crimes and cease murdering each other at a record pace 5. minorities start taking advantage of ALL the federal education/housing/employment advantages to drag THEMSELVES out of poverty/life of crime/sitting on arse/welfare...OR all these useless programs { $ } STOPS !
