That guy in the pic is your stud linebacker?

Oy.

Good luck with him getting by this 6' 8" 345 lb. guy:

This is our stud defender, Okoranku:

Roquan is going to shut down your running backs.

He will do fine against your offensive blocking (he did fine against the 2 first rounders on the Notre Dame line).

Maybe, although that isn't our real strength even though we had a decent run game season....The real reason for it's success, however, as you will see, is the superb playing calling mix of run and pass that leaves linebackers and secondaries unsure what's coming next..

Smith won’t be going against Brown. He’ll face off against your interior linemen who are the weak link.

Roquan won't have to focus on that. His job is to eliminate the tailbacks from being productive. He won't be covering your tight end or receivers. He will stuff the tailbacks at the line and eliminate the tailbacks from the receiving game.

Play offense without a running game and without a safety valve for your passing game. Good luck.

Where did you get your information that the rest of the line is anywhere near being considered a 'weak link'? ...Allow me to assist you:

Interesting...so the Roquan guy doesn't factor on pass plays much then...That sounds like the perfect spot to take advantage of play action to his spot on the field..

He isn't wasting his duties by spying on your qb.

He is eliminating your tailbacks from the equation (2800 yards rushing, 31 rushing TDs, 800 yards receiving, 10 receiving TDs).

The middle of the field won't be vacated (another ILB and 2 safeties). We aren't leaving assignments uncovered. We are just forcing OU to play 60 minutes with 1 hand tied behind your back.

Do Georgia fans know that Linebackers have coverage assignments and that we can force Roquan into those assignments?

You say interesting because you think Roquan becomes a non-factor by spying your tailbacks.

I say interesting because your tailbacks touch the ball on over 60% of the snaps.

OU has a great yards per play average. What happens to that average if the running game gets under 3 per carry and you lose your underneath safety valve?

Ha. There is only 1 way that you can force Roquan to not cover your tailback.

And that is a no back set.

You can't force a defense to change their assignments? You are probably on of those fans who say, our guard should command a double team on this play (not realizing that the defense chooses what responsibilities each defender has)

I believe there's a high probability that Roquan get's stiff armed face first into the grass because he underestimates Baker's strength, like so many others have. I've watched Baker for three seasons. I know what he is. Georgia does not.

This is unreal. I have never in my life seen a more up their own arse, smug fan base, and I regularly post on a board full of Bama fans.

And that great stat is mainly due to the balance of run pass (if you exclude the O line). If your LB is committing to the run only, it will be exploited.

You think there is another team in football at any level that doesn't try this???

Probably not to the degree you are about to experience.
