You don’t win last night if Marvin Harrison Jr. finished the semifinal. Injuries are part of the game and y’all were extremely fortunate. That and a mindfrick run of a couple of plays by the Ohio St braintrust at the end.

I agree with all of that except for the amount of top 10 teams LSU played in that season and won.
Also, UGA almost losing to OHST in the semis didn’t do much for the argument.
2019 LSU is still superior, but welcome to the 15-0 club regardless!

Since 1925, Bama has 11 undefeated seasons. LSU has TWO and UGA HAS THREE in the same time span. No they weren’t all 15-0 because they didn’t play that many games until 2015. No way to prove it but my guess if Bama played 15 games at least half of those teams would have gone 15-0. Is UGA’s 2021 championship illegitimate because Bama whipped your arse in the SECCG and you went 14-1? That’s what I thought.

BUT
LSU 2019 is a couple notches up.
Yes, the defense may have only been top 25 percentile in team defense that season, but that offense was a world ender. There is 1 player on the Georgia offense that would have started some games on that team.
Plus, team defense is just a weak stat, and LSU's defense was better than that stat suggests.
Number 8 in FEI.

You forgot 2018 Clemson. That team was stacked and destroyed a dominant Alabama team by 28 that probably would have been 42 if they hadn’t called off the dogs.

Some LSU fans can go overboard with the 2019 stuff, but that team is one of 5 or so you can legitimately argue as the best college team ever.

Yes they are. And it’s not debatable. They won every award they could win aside from kicker, set numerous records, and every player on that team that started played on sunday within the next two years.
I certainly hope you aren’t dwelling on that instead of celebrating your back to back championships. This is why nobody likes you guys.
