Announcers in the St Johns/Arkansas game had no shame in pulling for the Johnnies….

It was laughable….Steve Lappas is the worst in the industry. Makes Tessitore look like Jack Buck.

I think they definitely were pulling for St John’s. Can’t hate them for that though…. its a good story and the entire arena was mostly St John’s fans. Easy to get caught up in that environment

I muted it and listened to the baseball game. The halftime show was just as bad.

The entire network and all their analysts were, too.

There's a reson Cal basically cut off all media ties after he left Kentucky and they all called him a loser/moron.

I also. Think that's why his family was so tight during these games. They know how much shite he took for going to 'poor Arkansas' to end out his career as a joke.

It was pathetic. I understand their resurgence, under a hall of fame coach in a new coaching life, was one of the biggest stories in college basketball this season, and they had the attention of everyone.

That said, you just can't let it bleed into your calling of the game. You're professionals, you're supposed to remain objective and neutral. They were anything but.
