Albert Means getting paid isn't what was at issue over his recruiting, it was his HS coach getting paid to steer him there

Milton Kirk admitted to Gary Parrish that he and Lynn Lang took money to steer him to Alabama, I don't know why Kirk would lie about that. Lang and Kirk were indicted, but I don't remember what became of their cases. You did ask whether Means ever received anything or not
