If they want a ticket, they wait in line.
Trust me ... our ticket office has the process down to an art.
Yea, sounds so much easier than having a computer do all of that for them.

Ags will lose by 3 touchdowns. Our defense is tons better than it was last year

Ahh the nostalgia. I sort of miss having to camp out for tickets.

Gentlemen are only asked to remove their hats in the Memorial Student Center link
"Uncover" (removing your hat) is what the 12th Man is asked to do--by the Yell Leaders--prior to starting a yell at Midnight Yell Practice, football games, other places where yells are occurring.

The process is very much digitized.
But boy, you sure got us dumb Aggies.

thank you.
As long as no one tells me to uncover during the game. I'm tucking my mullet 'neath my Houndstooth fedora.

no it isnt if people are sitting in line. im sure they use a computer to print the tickets out, but the process is far from "very much digitized".
i cant think of a worse way to distribute tickets honestly.

I just don't understand wasting your students and your employees time doing all that crap. If it's already "digitized" why not just have an online system for it? Everybody else does it, in the ticket world and the business world, because it's time and cost effective for everybody.

No one--other than possibly the most idiotic dork alive (unfortunately, we do have a couple of those) would ever tell a fan from another school to "uncover." If anyone does, you have permission to tell him to piss up a rope. And chances are excellent every other Ag around you would do the same.

This is how LSU distributed football and baseball tickets way back in 95. Wait in line to get your book of season tickets.

Yeah sounds like it's down to an art with list-eaters & such

Ensures the most dedicated students get the best seats. It's something other schools won't understand and will only criticize.

Students have to wait in line for tickets? Is A&M ever going to join with the times and do that shite online?
Well, the last time we let someone do something online, The Rant gave us hell for it.

Not to mention, we have more students that attend football games every Saturday than most other SEC schools have in total enrollment.

Its like Willy Wonkas Golden Ticket... sure they could have just made it an online contest (leave timeframe logic out of this), but then Charlie wouldnt have gotten to run all the way through town (campus) waving his ticket around will pure excitement.
Plus while it looks extremely boring in pictures those lines usually turn into a lot of fun.

Huh. First time I've heard this.

That blows you have to wait for a ticket and you're a student

Even more of a reason to do it online.
