Momma is wrong again. Here's a list of universities requiring the vaccine:

At a quick glance, it seems all the top schools in the country are requiring. Admittedly, just a quick glance.

Yeah, except I was responding to a post that stated attending a football game would require vaccination.

Go ahead and dig up that list

Or we can just assume fans would have a lot more peace of mind knowing the guy throwing spittle all over you in the next seat has been vaccinated.

But why?

You’re ok with catching Covid from a vaccinated person but not from an unvaccinated person?

Please explain that thought process

That was probably my bad. I was not referring to games, just university policy.

I could see how if there is a policy for students it might be expanded to events on school grounds.

I know you think these game day policy will not spread, but I think it really depends on the state and how other big universities end up on the issue.

All Louisiana residents can get their vaccine card added to the LA Wallet app. Takes about 2 seconds to show your vaccinated status.

And 2 seconds times 100,000 fans= 55 hours plus. and that's if they all have that app, which you know is never the case. Nothing to see here, move along.

You’re right about that. It’s widespread. Although, a George Mason professor just won a lawsuit against the mandates.

Except vaccinated people can still spread it.

At a far smaller rate and the vaccine does this thing vaccines are meant to do it's called keeping people healthy. 97% of Covid patients right now are not vaccinated. So yeah that argument dies there

And what about people with natural immunity?

Are you talking about antibodies? Yeah let's risk not getting a vaccine on the off chance your body may have produced Covid antibodies

Yet for some reason, everyone needs to get this vaccine?

Because it cuts down on the spread you selfish dick. Unless you have had Covid before you don't have the antibodies to fight it. If you don't get the vaccine that means you're putting others at risk.

Sparking of which why are you risking the lives of people with complications such as auto immune problems just so you can pretend that you're making some kind of heroic stand?

The app keeps a digital copy of your drivers license/ I.D.
Those are state issued. They already have the info.
Do you honestly think they couldn’t find your information, unless you put it on an app?

No, I'm not going to a football game this year vaccinated or not. Been around long enough to believe we are all day to day. From time spent on this earth to unforeseen incidents like plagues, we all might as well be in Vegas playing the odds. No one has the market cornered on what is an absolute truth about all this stuff. We come and go every day based on how we see things personally. So no one should be criticized if they do or don't take the vaccine. Or don't bother to show up for football this year.

Big business lives in a much more complicated world than fans.

The lack of discussion surrounding obesity as it relates to COVID outcomes is almost criminal. It is, by FAR, the single biggest determining factor. Anyone who denies that should never open their mouth about “the science”, because they don’t give a shite about science or data.

So, are you saying they should just not let the fatties into the game? I'd pay to watch that entertainment.

That’s not the point though. It only takes a slight increase in (bad)infection cases to overwhelm a hospital.
My wife works in Surgical ICU. When the first wave hit, they completely shut down all surgeries which were mainly heart and liver transplants in order to make room for COVID patients. patients who were already there for conditions of the heart, liver, lungs etc. are on immunosuppressive drugs. A lot of them contracted COVID and died due to complications. I’m not sure if you can calculate how many others died due to not being able to get the (potentially)life saving surgeries they required.

So only the people who are sick enough to get into the hospital can spread it now?

You don't seem to understand the difference between spreading it and severity.

quote:

Are you talking about antibodies? Yeah let's risk not getting a vaccine on the off chance your body may have produced Covid antibodies

So my body produced them the first time, but now they might not produce them the 2nd time?

Do you guys here yourself? Beyond that, while antibodies may not always be present, your body still knows what to produce when it see's them.

Because it cuts down on the spread you selfish dick. Unless you have had Covid before you don't have the antibodies to fight it. If you don't get the vaccine that means you're putting others at risk.

The only one pretending to make a herioc stand here is you.

Furthermore, do you think your body has to have antibodies for every disease in existence at all times to provide immunity? Hint: It does not. Your body only needs to know what antibodies to produce when it see's them, then it will automatically start doing so.

That is the exact same thing with vaccinated people. That is all a vaccine does, it provides your body with that information. When your vaccinated body comes in contact with covid, it still has to produce the antibodies to fight it. The same as someone with natural immunity.

During that time the virus is still reproducing and mutating inside your body. You can still spread it. The only difference is your body will produce the antibodies quicker now that it knows what to do, the same as someone with natural immunity. Most of the time, it will happen so fast you won't show any symptoms.

I haven't put anyone at risk. But as for those people, maybe they should...take the vaccine. DUH.

It only became political when people like you made it such

Not a single thing you have claimed so far is based on science. In fact, it's all been based on a complete lack of understanding science.

Btw, you know what keeps antibodies in peoples systems longer? Being constantly exposed to it. Which is what happens in normal responses to these things.

They did not kick out people with life threatening conditions for covid patients.

Stop making shite up.

After giving it some thought, I fully support this LSU shitshow. It will be pretty hard to blame un-"vaxxed" people for your newly acquired case of covid-1984 when the stadium has no unvaxxed people. You "vaccinated" people can have your own personal super spreader events.
