They know it will be a disaster getting in and then idiots will demand a mark of the beast QR code to make it easier. Hopefully people will stay home instead to send a message

If a team is 90-100% vaccinated...why are players and coaches dropping like flies?

Wow, figured the SJW's running things in Austin would have been the first to do this. Looks like LSU is trying to out progressive everyone. Next thing you know they will be waving dildos at games like they do in Austin.

They won't be the last. Players and coaches are dropping like flies with positive tests so far.

Universities want to play football and have stands filled with fans, not patients.

Since the vaccine doesn’t prevent infection or spread wouldn’t it make more sense to just require the negative test?

They could be allowing all kinds of vaxxed super spreaders in the gates

Absolutely the first domino to fall. No way LSU is the only ones.

Going to be hilarious when LSU gets sued by an unvaxxed person with a negative test catching Covid from a vaxxed person at an LSU game. Brilliant move to jump into the realm of acting like you are providing a safe environment instead of just telling people that they can come at their own risk. I can see some trial lawyers already getting their ads together now for the boon to come.

People have been saying this since COVID started, that lawsuits were going to be rampant for businesses' liability as it pertains to COVID. The big problem is causation. It would be impossible to prove where someone contracted COVID, which is why these lawsuits aren't happening and/or have been unsuccesful

personally, I think every team program should do this. If there is one thing southerners love more than stupid politics, it's college football.

I imagine this is more pressure from the Governor than anything.

You aren’t going to have that in any other SEC state, but we shall see

Once 2-3 more teams make this move I'd be surprised if the SEC didn't then make it a rule for all conference games.

Yeah, it'll be funny when the judge tosses the case.

Maybe, depends on the judge. It's just a really, really dumb move for Universities to get into the business of determining health as a reason for going to events.

If you are vaxxed why should you care if others are unvaxxed? If you are unvaxxed you should realize you are taking a risk (though most unvaxxed people have had Covid and thus have natural immunity).

Take vitamins. Exercise. Wash your hands. If you are sick stay home. Make your own choice on the vax. Simply no reason for schools to get involved in this and it sets a horrible precedent.

All Louisiana residents can get their vaccine card added to the LA Wallet app. Takes about 2 seconds to show your vaccinated status.

Wait. You guys keep a state government app that is linked to and keeps personal information on your phone?

Are you fricking stupid?
