Every game Mac has lost has been with a backup QB and against better teams. If our offense still sucks next year bringing virtually everybody back, then start worrying.

One of these Ms is not like the other.
I've see "out of the loop" before ... but sheesh, you are really out of the loop.
So what you are saying is that Urbie left Boom with more talent than Boom left BMac?
Ummmm ... you may wanna check what players Foley had Boom shitcan in an effort to clean up Urbie's mess first.
Then you may wanna check recruiting class rankings.
Boom has admitted he did not get enough OLinemen his first two years at UF. And everyone knows the story about all the QBs. But even a pedestrian unknowledgeable uninformed fan such as yourself Eli Goldfinger, surely even you know that Urbie did not leave UF stacked with talent when he faked his heart attacks and ran off for OSU. I mean you do, amirite? I would hope so lulz

The film on his teeth is 4mm thick...

He has been extremely unlucky with qbs his first 2 years. That's the main issue he has had.

Urban left a depleted roster
A little bit of truth to that. He also left enough talent to go 12-1 Muschamp's second year.
McElwain is safe for the next 2.5 years. He gets four years to give it his best. If it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out.
Hoping for the best.

I still give Mcelwain the benefit of the doubt because for 2 straight seasons he's had a starting QB that looks to be on his way to having a good year go down very early. I don't know the story but Will Grier transfering out just didn't make sense... can't see how he would not be the starter right now. Why did he leave?
Muschamps dealt with some QB injuries also I think, but I don't remember well.

The real underlying problem is the offensive line. And that was Muschamp's fault. But with that being said, the current O line coach sucks at coaching and recruiting. He is the one who needs to be replaced.

Mac went 10-2 in the regular season. Boom went 11-1 in 2012..........
That 11-2 season for Boom was probably the ugliest 11-2 ever.

Nah, we'll make Tom Herman a back channel offer, if he doesn't take it stick with Mac for another year.

His seat will be warm if he doesn't turn things around soon. I look for some staff changes after this season or a new staff completely after 2017 if he doesnt win the east again. The new AD will want his own HC if Mac can't get it done.

Is this Muschamps fault too? When do we start blaming the program? After the next coach fails too?

Because last years Florida team was better? Take away the cheating QB and does Florida even make it to Atlanta?

Do I have to? You know how many times I've heard "y'all are South Carolina"?
Maybe Florida ain't the same ole Florida anymore
Full disclosure: I'm just looking for any reason for optimism these days

No you didn't have to. I'm glad you did because I didn't know what you meant.
I guess one could argue that UF is no longer capable of competing at the highest level. I wouldn't agree with that person making that argument but I wouldn't waste time trying to change their mind either.
Heavy investment into the football and baseball facilities are coming.
Foley always thought we are UF was enough. He thought the educational opportunity was enough. Kids don't care about the name on the degree any longer. They want shiny things and a ticket to the NFL.
It was time for new blood. We are looking to get shiny things again whether some of us agree with it or not it must be done to compete.
That's the part of this SEC contract that I always didn't like. Everyone will just spend it. I suppose it helps UF and SC against FSU and Clemson but in the SEC nothing really changes except the bills are now higher.
