I gotta respectfully disagree on that one man. I think we've gotten a little faster laterally this season than we were in the three previous seasons. I do expect Coach Miles to show some looks offensively that LSU hasn't shown all year. I really think the team that wins the time of possession has the best chance of winning the game.

I am trying hard not to bash the Grinders. They tried to stretch. In my opinion, especially on the first drive, t opened things up for them to move the ball downfield. Russell had some great throws on the drive, but the lateral motion in their offense helped them that drive. After that, their O line and receivers quit blocking like they did on the first drive. Again, LSU does not have a problem blocking on the line or in the receiver corps. Not sure how else to express why I think this will possibly be advantageous to LSU.

I'm sure Les has detected the same lateral motion in the MSU offense and the production they gained from it, I think he should give it a shot Sat night and see what happens.

This is going to be a great, hard-fought game. I'm really looking forward to Bama going up against a team that will challenge them. I want to see how this team reacts to a true challenge.

If anything, our LBs are faster than last year.

This.

Our LB's may not be BETTER as a whole, but when did Hightower and Upshaw become burners? I'll guarantee you we don't start a LB that is slower than either of them.

You need to express where it makes sense. You said in you inital post "It seemed like early in the game, State ran the ball effectively from the gun, with an extra blocker on the line."

I pointed out that they did not have success running the football early in the game. Now you are saying their receivers quit blocking like they did the first drive.

The first running play from the Miss State 1st drive went for a negative 3 yards. It was a run form the gun.

The 2nd running play from the Miss State 1st drive went for no gain to the outside with Russell under center.

The 3rd run went for 2 yards and that was it.

Miss State went down the field on 3rd and 12 during their first drive. Their ability to run had nothing do with it. Everyone knew they were passing. The Alabama safety Clinton-Dix just judge his depth incorrectly and Chris Smith made a good catch.

Once again you do not know what your talking about and you're reaching very badly.

That's it. They didn't gain anything from it and they didn't use it in the way he's explaining it. The dude is so off base that he's obviously just throwing something out there thinking no one would pick up on it.

Dude is a fraud.
