I don't expect a close game. Each team is better than last year, so i'm expecting a similar result. Brantley has yet to convince me that he's very good. I'm not worried about Demps and Rainey's speed vs. our defense...they aren't any faster than they were in 2010 or 2009. And I'm not worried about the Swamp. And as far as it being a tough and physical game, the last two years, when Bama punched them in the mouth, the Gators wanted no part of it. The coach may be new, but the players are mostly the same. I don't see Florida being nearly as physical as Bama. Bama by 17.

Exactly. If Muschamp had been at UF a couple of years to get his type of players, I'd be a bit worried. But he's trying to play smash-mouth football with those little guys that Urban recruited. The Swamp will likely be draining out mid-way of the third quarter.

Florida will show flashes in the first quarter or two. It won't be enough. The machine will grind the gators into dust, just like it did the hogs. By the end of the game, I see a lot of Florida receivers being true to their namesake and alligator arming passes left and right.

Bwahahahaha. Now you are using yardage as your excuse.
Anything to make yourself feel better.

Yea, there is a major difference though.
We replaced the worst offensive coordinator in football with the best offensive coordinator in football.

He was so good that he got fired from his last job.

Who are you talking about?
Charlie Weis last job was turning one of the worst offenses in the NFL into one of the best. This year, that same offense has turned back into one of the worst.

It's going to be a great game, but I think Alabama pulls away. Though, if Rainey and Demps are held in check like the last two years, Alabama could pull away early.

Bama is going to beat the absolute shite out of them. 3 td's

If Florida can somehow get a lead they have a chance, if they trail it will be similar to the game against Arkansas.

I'm not sure we will have what it takes to pull off the upset at the end of the night, but it won't be because of this. The players this year are WAAAAAAYYYYY more bought in than last year because they have a coach who isn't halfway checked out and a helluvalot better staff. Talk to the players this year vs. last, and the difference you will hear is astounding.
You may beat us due to experience, physicality, or shear talent, and you may do so in double digits. None of that will surprise me. However, Muschamp is not Meyer and doesn't have much in his demeanor or background that says he is going to throw it in even if his team is getting thrashed. I think Florida will respond accordingly and fight tooth and nail for this.

UF pulls out the win by 10. UF leads the SEC in rushing and I think UF's front Seven is good enough to control Bama. Plus night game in the Swamp the fans will be rabid.
but then again I have never picked against UF in my life and prolly never will.

I don't think we know a lot about UF yet. That worries me. We haven't seen enough of them to know what to expect yet.
In the end, I think Bama wins, but the unknowns make me nervous.

I can see McCarron having some trouble. I wish his first SEC road start wasn't in the Swamp against Florida.
I was saying the same thing about Bray a couple weeks ago.
I'll take Bama, though.

I think the Florida defense hangs tough for a half. Alabama by 10. Florida has an OK team this year, and it's clear the coaching has been solid, but I don't think UF's offensive players are tough enough mentally to beat Alabama.
