Bama QB stats will be padded with the short quick pass and the YAC by the WRs and RBs.can’t fail in that system.

so he's gained about 15 pounds.

I don't believe that. He still looks the same to me.

Fagggy for sure . I’ve seen that kid play 3 years in Longview. He has nothing that you would think would translate to SEC caliber QB. Nothing.

Of course. However, they don't nearly have the track stars they had the past two seasons. So not only will it be more difficult for them to get open, but Bama's YAC will also be significantly less at the same time.

We all know it is difficult in the SEC to just plug and play with a new starting QB. I
why is this board obsessed with new players?? Maybe new players are actually better than the old players they're replacing.

Now sure, the new guy doesn't have experience, but if a guy can play, a guy can play.

We've seen numerous new QBs come in and dominate over the years, for many different teams.

So the "new QB" argument rings hollow.

But Bryce Young is going to be really fricking good.

He should never be referred to as Bryce Young, he should only be referred to as 'Bama's Million Dollar Man'. It's time for LSU and other SEC schools to drive up the pressure on him to perform like a "Million Dollar' QB. IF he handles it, then ok. If not it will be glorious to watch Saban dance around questions about if he's worth the Million Dollars he got.

Atm and Florida will probably win ugly at 1st. Bama will get it done just because Saban is crazy, good. If LSU can get lead on Bama and put pressure on Bryce I think he'll choke. He won't have pressure until we roll into town.

Especially when you throw in 4 new OL starters. I don’t care how good their RBs are. I can see their defense keeping them close in many games which means they’ll be relying on King to make plays to win. Might be asking too much of him.

Saban's not the one paying him.

wouldn't be surprised to see some of his very jealous offensive linemen just accidentally missing a block oh so very discreetly here and there
so you would think it happens at LSU where the QB will have a NIL and the lineman probably won't

FL and Aggie QBs will struggle for the simple fact that they will be playing behind less talented O-lines.

TAMU overhyped. They have a few big name NFL guys on defense and nice run game, but a weak receiving corps outside of Wydermyer, and one returning starter on the OL. QB doesn't impress me.

Florida has talent at WR and this is Dan Mullen so I expect the offense to be clicking. People hating on Jones are only doing so out of ignorance. Dan Mullen in year one year took Franks from straight trash, to an actual starting QB.

Before Mullen 54.6% 1438 yards 6.3 ypa 9 TD 8 int, 58 car 20 yards
After Mullen 58.4% 2457 yards 7.6 ypa 24 TD 6 int, 110 car 350 yards 7 TDs

Jones has set behind two guys that put up better numbers than anybody at LSU outside of Burrow, and to a lesser extent Mett, in the last 15 years. Now I'm not expecting him to be Kyler Murray who waited behind Baker Mayfield for 2 years, but I do expect Dak Prescott.

Outside of that, Florida doesn't look any better than last year.

Bama, I just don't see them winning all their games again. I've brought up Sark too. If people think O'Brian will do what Sark did, they're crazy. Young is also not there yet in the physical or experience part. Add on that they have only one legit experienced WR. The lines will be good as always, but that secondary is something I expect will bring them big trouble.
