I don’t think many LSU fans would have been excited with this insane contract had it been offered.
You can want a guy as coach but not want to give them one of the riskiest contracts in CFB history.

He has to rebuild A&M. Sumlin left him no offense or defense.
LSU is attacking because this is not a 1 year fix. This is a multiyear turn around and most LSU fans think either A&M of Fisher flames out before results are produced.

Yeah but $75 million to A&M is the equivalent to $45 million to LSU. LSU’s spending power is nil compared to A&M.
The state of Louisiana is being run by a socialist idiot and the state coffers are all but dry. A&M, as a university, has more money than they can count and the state is doing just fine.
I don’t think people realize the effect John Bel Edwards and his communistic tendencies are having on that swamp. That’s why they could only hire the slaw drinker to come in and coach their program.

I don’t really care what they pay a year for a coach. I would not be happy to see the 10 year clause.
