This is a perfect example of why 95% of the fanbase is digging in their heels in support of Wade. Alleva at every move makes the wrong decision and then pours gasoline on the fire with every single statement afterwards. Rather than shut his mouth and say Im not going to comment on those matters on such a great day for the players and the program he has to make sure to rain on the parade.
When you are such a prick no one is going to give you any sort of the benefit of the doubt in situations like the wade situation.

Yea - this is just awful by Alleva. It doesn't do anybody any good at all and it certainly doesn't help the kids.

I don't think anyone thinks Alleva is good at his job.
I also don't think this whole thing is his fault. He's not helping, but most were poking fun at the fact that LSU folks just basically ignored Wade and what he pretty clearly did and just made it out that Alleva was the problem and piled all their frustration on him.

It's hiliarious watching LSU fans defend a liar and a cheater; Wade has screwed their beloved university.

This is the same guy who told Les Miles that he wasn't firing him in a tunnel in Tiger Stadium after he had a sendoff from his players and the fans on the field with his family and then fired him four games into the next season.
