OU isnt Bob Stoops / Lincoln Riley anymore. Its just plain old OU that hired a DC to be the head coach who is struggling to find his way and learn on the job making 8 mill a year.

The can get back there, but it'll take a better hire than this one.

Why? We got an actual trophy for beating the big 12 champion

Spoken like a true SEC bottom feeder

Because they are a bottom feeder.

Now that everyone can pay players, oU is fvcked.

OU is in a very dangerous position to simply just becoming Nebraska.

Between a coaching change at an inopportune time, an absolute BRUTAL SEC schedule for two years, and the influx of serious money....

Alot of their advantages in the BigXII are simply not there. That said, in the era of NIL, a turn can happen QUICK.

They don't have 50 times the talent of league, like they had in big12. With Tejas being only close rival with talent

LSU has played Texas 16 times with a record of 7-8-1. Where'd you get your stats?

I’ve said it before, I was really pissed they let you guys into the SEC because of all the bullshite your administration pulled in the end to break up the big 12. And then you not wanting to play us for 10 years because you were upset we blew up your move to the PAC 12

But now that you’re here,

Let’s get it on….

Not that much different than Mizzou in the Big Eight/12, but against stiffer competition now in the SEC. Funny how that works out. For comparison sake, I am comparing SEC records since Mizzou joined the SEC and evaluating program strength based on that time period only.

Against the elite programs from the Big Eight/12:

Oklahoma: 25-65-5 (28%)
Nebraska: 36-64-3 (36%)
Texas: 9-18-1 (34%)

Against dominantly elite Alabama/Georgia since we joined the SEC:

Alabama: 0-6 (0%)
Georgia: 1-11 (8%)

Against the upper-middle class of the Big Eight/12:

Colorado: 41-31-3 (57%)
Kansas: 57-54-9 (51%)
Texas A&M: 5-6 (45%)
Texas Tech: 6-3 (67%)

Against the upper-middle class of the SEC:

Auburn: 3-3 (50%)
Florida: 7-6 (54%)
LSU: 1-2 (33%)
Ole Miss: 2-0 (100%)
Tennessee: 6-4 (60%)
Texas A&M: 2-3 (40%)
South Carolina: 7-6 (54%)

Against the bottom-feeders in the Big Eight/12:

Baylor: 10-4 (71%)
Iowa State: 61-34-9 (63%)
Kansas State: 60-33-5 (64%)
Oklahoma State: 29-24 (55%)

Against the bottom-feeders in the SEC:

Arkansas: 9-2 (82%)
Kentucky: 5-8 (39%)
Mississippi State: 3-2 (60%)
Vanderbilt: 9-4 (69%)

Kentucky is the only real outlier. They've had our number. And Mizzou's putrid record against Alabama and Georgia sort of hides how well the Tigers have performed against most of the rest of the conference.
