Mine? I’m flattered. Didn’t know my mental state had any bearing on the game.

Excuse me ma'am but did you even watch the game? Auburn played a 3-1-7 defense and forced LSU to run the ball. So LSU ran the football for 500 all purpose yards. On the other hand Alabama doesn't have the depth at CB to run the 3-1-7 so LSU won't be forced to run the football all game like Auburn. It had nothing to do with O just taking what was offered by the defense. Good job with the analysis Pandy frickler

oof. Hot take here. Sean Mcvay hasn't won a damn thing and currently sits third in his division. A position you're familiar with in redstick

Because big plays will win this game and Burrow is statistically twice as good as Tua at throwing down the field. And history has shown that Bama can be had by teams that throw downfield well.

and statistically twice as likely to turn it over. Touchdowns are expected on both sides. Turnovers will probably be a much better indicator of the winner than a long passing plays

Sean McVay took an NFL offense from last to first in 1 year and has been to a Super Bowl as a barely 33 year old coach, which is a better accomplishment than anything that can be achieved at the amateur level. He is a superior coach to Saban who did not succeed in the league. Stacking up wins at the kids' level with limited parity does not equate to shite compared to the NFL.

Ask Bill Bellicheck who he would choose between the two. Your presumption is laughable. A lot more goes into being a great nfl coach than college. First and foremost you have to have a great general manager who can both pick and get talent to go to their respective team if you want any shot at being a great coach. Remember who wanted Drew Brees and wasn’t allowed to get him? Yea, that’s right. In college the head coach is the gm. Makes a big difference. Just because one team is doing well in the nfl doesn’t automatically make that head coach better than another.

So Jim Harbaugh is a better coach than Saban too then? What about Dan Quinn? I love your logic here. fricking riveting shite man. What happened when that offensive wunderkind ran up against the old defensive wizard?

He scored 3 points

I cannot speak for Belichick. He is the greatest football coach ever, but again he's on a totally different plane from lolcollege coaching. That said, neither can you, so I'm not sure what your point is. What I can say is McVay seems poised to coach in the NFL indefinitely, while Saban had to come back to the amateur level where you can stack advantages with his system. Trying to ding Brady for age is silly and is unbelievably tone deaf in this era of football. In fact, it really is just a reach, because what he has done is transcendental.

They finally discovered the spread offense, I cut them a little slack because this is all new to them. Now their passing game coordinator is the key to beating Saban

Haha yeah that's right! Dan fricking Quinn is a more accomplished football coach than Saban. Now that is sad.

The Brady vs Bama defense is probably the most interesting storyline in the game outside of Tua's ankle. But, to suggest that Brady will win the match up because Sean McVay had some success is pretty silly. Nick Saban has shown that he knows what he's doing a time or two. There have been a few times he's been had as well by the very type of offense that LSU runs and Burrow can run pretty well which Saban defenses have struggled with in the past. Throw in a couple of true freshman LBs in their first big time college game and LSU may get some broken plays in there. This is going to be a fascinating game.

This board was laughing at Brady being the key to LSU having a dynamic offense in the off-season as well.
