LSU fans are the most insecure fans on the planet. If Mizzou is tarnishing the SEC so much then why haven't you won the SEC West since Mizzou entered the conference since 2011?

I have a feeling that 16 team conferences are the next round of expansion & wouldn't be surprised to see 1 of those 3 in the SEC.

I'm glad A&M and Missouri were added. They have definitely added to the conference - and more than eyeballs and a larger footprint. Even in the primary sport of football A&M gave us Johnny Manziel, a couple of fine seasons and a lot of excitement. Historically, a top 25 type program and 1 legit NC. They have a terrific overall athletic program.
Missouri has won 2 East titles, no one has more since they arrived, and had a couple of other decent seasons and now have Lock. They are historically a top 30 type program. They had an offensive innovator like Don Faurot who invented the split-T and was a fine coach. Dan Devine and Pinkel were very good coaches. They won 3 Big 12 North titles. Culturally, they are not quite as redneck as some of us in the SEC, though not as far behind as I thought :-). I do have friends from the state, Texas too.
Anyway - a belated welcome to both, many of us are glad you are here.

Come on man, don't be so uppity. Y'all were close, real close. You ultimately made the right call, but it was close. You sent 10s of thousands to fight for the South and you had N vs S skirmishes all over the state. You entered the Union as a slave-state. Even after the war you had your own version of "Jim Crow".
