Fisher is not the worst guy you could have hired. Trust me. We hired the WORST guy you could have hired.

But, in all honesty, he seems like a coach on a downward trajectory unless he lands another all time talent. Maybe it was his wife getting hosed down by half the state of Florida. Maybe he is just one of those great coordinators that slowly wilts under the intense pressure of a P5 head coaching gig.

For whatever reason he just seems like he's going through the motions. Yes, he's landed some really good recruiting classes. Sumlin landed some really good recruiting classes as well.

When I look at Jimbo right now I don't see a coach hell bent on building a national title contender. I see John Chavis. A tired man collecting his paycheck.

Like I said... there is 1 guy that really knows. LSU fans ought to be asking him if genuinely concerned. They know where to find him.

Y’all are so ate up with trying to beat us that I doubt it had as much to do with Woodward as it did your board.

You got Chavis, you tried to get Aranda. We tried to get Jimbo and it was pretty common knowledge that he was trying to frick us with the same deal. We didn’t fall for it, and y’all like to brag about deep pockets (and empty trophy cases), so Woodward got the ok to make a ridiculous contract/hire.

Fisher is a good coach. A&M just paid about $3 million per year too much, and guaranteed about 3 years too much. I don’t believe in passing judgement on a coach after two years unless it’s a shite-show. I will fall out of my chair if Jimbo wins three or more natties in the next ten years, which is what A&M is paying him for, but it wouldn’t shock me if he wins an SEC championship and gets in the playoffs.

I am not a big Woodward sycophant either. He has never done anything in hius career to make me think he’s exceptional. However, anything to get that professional cuck, Alleva, out of here had my support.

Of course, if Jimbo wins the next three natties I would be a little less shocked than I currently am by Orgeron’s success. I thought his hiring marked the end of the good era of LSU football. It just goes to show that people will fool you.
