So if you think Freeman is a good coach you have to bet on the title game?

What an idiot.

So BK underachieved because he lost to 2012 Alabama, 2018 Clemson, and 2020 Bama, who went a combined 41-1.

No, because he never won a NY6 tier bowl game or any big game of any real significance.

Freeman is better because he won a CFP semifinal vs Penn State, who had 2 losses, on their own.

And because he beat SEC Champion UGA in the Sugar, and won another playoff game, is 26 years younger while doing it, has momentum and excitement around the program and whose ceiling is clearly way higher than a 63-64 year old geriatric.

One is on the way up, Freeman, while the other has plateaued and trending down, Kelly.

You would say Ed Orgeron is a better coach than Mark Richt because he won a title and Richt didn't.

Wrong again. Terrible comparison comparing Freeman to Ogre and old man Kelly to Richt, Richt won the SEC and some NY6 Bowl games.

Kelly’s biggest win was a one point OT anomaly at home against Alabama

If these LSU fans would put as much effort into raising money for a buy out as they are defending Kelly they would be much better off.

I'm actually agreeing with you if you would get your head out of your arse and actually read the comments.

Marcus Freeman had to beat three top 10 teams in a row to even get to this point.

When Brian Kelly played for it he did not. It was based off the regular season and the schedule ND had.

You don't have to, I just thought some of you would jump at the chance since they're such a big underdog and the sentiment here is that they're now capable of winning these games.

Got it.

I mean Notre Dame is 2-0 against teams LSU is 0-2 against in 2024.

No doubt, 2024 Notre Dame is better than 2024 LSU.

Kelly underachieved and LSU fans are making excuses for it.

Freeman has done better - winning when it matters. Kelly has made LSU worse.

What’s so difficult to understand?

Freeman has continued the success that Kelly maintained. The expanded playoff had room for Notre Dame to return to it, despite the loss to a G5.

Kelly has made LSU much better than it was immediately prior to his takeover of the program.

What's so difficult to understand?

With their backup QB. Impressive. Penn State did not complete a pass to a wide receiver. ND definitely beat some juggernauts.

Yeah it’s totally Notre Dame’s fault that stuff happened to the other teams. Get the f**k out with that nonsense

Like LSU didn't lose to two backup QB this year after starting 7-1.

Pointing out your disingenuous, apples to oranges comparison as terrible doesn’t make me inconsistent.

It just makes you an intellectually dishonest response thread melter

At this point you are trying to convince yourself, not us

Pot, meet kettle.

Freeman is a better coach than Kelly because of his higher accomplishments.

Orgeron is not a better coach than Richt, despite Orgeron's higher accomplishments.

This is your "logic."

I think Freeman is a better coach than Ogre.

You can really only go on Freeman’s 3 years of accomplishments versus Kelly’s 20 plus as HC’s

I agree with the vast majority, give me the 39 year old with excitement surrounding his program who is clearly on the way up.

You prefer the old best days are in his rear view mirror.

This is way to important to you

Speaking of Mark Richt, he went 13-1 in his second season at Georgia. He won the SEC and won the Sugar Bowl. In only his second year as a head coach he accomplished more, a conference title and a NY6 bowl win, than Brian Kelly has in 35 years as a head coach.

Another inconsistency.

Orgeron won a natty, Freeman hasn't.

You really shouldn’t have gotten that Brian Kelly tattoo.
