Seems like he could be a decent 8 to 10 win coach

10 wins next year.

9 after that.

Then a 5 - 7 campaign and a new coaching search.

Probably a little worse than Miles. I still can't believe they fire Miles to get coach O. Miles was not the answer any longer, but my god have a plan in place to hire his replacement before you let him go.

Will average 8-9 wins per season. Could get to 10, but I don't see LSU as a national title contender under Coach O.

He'll win some and lose some.

The division is Saban's until he retires. So LSU fans will view him as a failure.

Surprisingly well. With the current staff in place LSU already has one of the top staffs in the nation with excellent sec ties. Give it some time and a quality play caller.

No downvote me you internet trolls! ;)

Good coach. He will have talent at LSU. Might need to find a replacement for Aranda because Alleva is going to frick that up and lose him.

Orgeron did well at USC after Kiffin. I think Orgeron is more proven that Herman. Just don't see how people are so desperate over a guy that lost to Navy, SMU, and Memphis. This is crazy talk. LSU might be dodging a bullet.

Honest assessment.

He'll recruit well but that's not been LSU's problem

Aranda will be tough to get for UT. His buyout is half his remaining contract. That's like a 2-2.5 mil swing for a coordinator (1.3-1.4 buyout at LSU and his first years pay at texas assuming he makes the same 1.25) while they're still paying 10.7 to strong and I believe paying Mack. Plus they'll have to hire an all new defensive staff, and OC since apple white CANT come to Texas

A lot better than most LSU fans think right now. I'm guessing a SECC and NC the first year Saban retires.

He will do fine.

Good recruiter.

Good man.

At the end of the day, saban is saban.

We await his retirement.
