I hate Cable so much. All I watch is sports, nature shows, and history docs anyway. I cut the cord and alacarte what I want.

Prime, Netflix, Espn, and I use KODI for anything else.

Yeah but you still have to buy Internet from somewhere. And they won't give you a decent price unless you buy their TV service along with it.

This is wrong.

I get AT&T Fiber gigabit - internet only - for $60 / month.

I subscribe to YTTV base package for $75 / month.

I was paying $250+ / month for DirecTV up until about a year ago when fiber finally came to our neighborhood.

Same thing happened to sling dish last year
ESPN is demanding more money and choose to wait for college football to do this

That's a diabolical move, I don't have DirectTV but I'd be so pissed if I paid for a service with ESPN, and when I sat down to watch week 1 of the football season it had been removed. No doubt that whatever ESPN charges will just be passed on to the consumer. ESPN needs to cut some of their deadweight programming and talent if they want to increase profits

Hey, it’s a boomer being a self-aggrandizing doofus claiming the peace, prosperity, and progress created by the generation before them that lived through the greatest economic depression in US history and fought a world war on two fronts.

Nope, no one can hold the straps to our greatest generation. But we did invent an awfully lot of the shite used now, and one day, the newer generations will be bitching about what X and Z own.

The biggest place the boomer generation fricked up was not whipping their kids arse enough. Brought about a lot of the stupid shite we see now.

I use directvs streaming service. It’s light years ahead of YouTube TV interface wise and the price packages are better. Not many people have actual satellite anymore.
