It never even occurred to me that Bama fans would not be fans of the other dark empire. It would make no sense. Pulling for someone who will not do anything to win, lie cheat steal etc.

There should be a rule that you should have to be Pats fans. That way you could be universally hated and despised in college and pro football. It’s confusing any other way. Like what if a Bama fan was a Saints or Falcons fan?
Would be bitch about refs in pro game and praise them in college? Etc

Never occurred to me that LSU fans are fans of the Browns. It would make sense since they like to pull for teams that are perennial losers.

Who wears a college hat to a NFL game? Everyone I knew in college from south and west of Montgomery was a Saints fan, especially everyone from Metro Mobile. And that was the pre-Katrina, Aaron Brooks era.

It's pretty simple. If you cheer for a NFL team in Alabama you are probably a Titans/Falcons/Saints fan, depending on which part of the state you are from and how old you are. The rest are Packers/Cowboys fans.
