It is a remarkable coincidence that the auburn fans don't take football that seriously this year compared to last year.

The difference between programs like Texas and Alabama vs Texas A&M, is that some programs are good enough to actually get them.
Others pretend, ride coat tails, and hide from big brother.

We shouldn't have let you even the series in 2012. Fortunately we will fix that Saturday

That is normally said when people ask "how come Alabama only has one Heisman winner?" or some other individual achievement.

Maybe we've been there and done. Much like storming the field.

You couldn't stop shite in 2012 but I would have loved to see you try. It would have made for a better game.

It actually looked at first as if the field was being rushed Saturday night. I have never seen that many folks with press/photog credentials.

Of course. They are gumps after all.

Of course again. Curry won the SEC championship with a 10-1 record in 1989, but lost to AU so he was fired immediately.
A bama season begins and ends with AU and that is all there is to it. They know we have the superior university and fanbase. All they have is football, so when they lose to us, it feels like the end of the world to them and they kill each other, vandalize, poison trees, etc.
Such is the way of the gump.

I am a tad bit nervous based on this overall presumption that we will kill Mizzou. On paper, and after taking time to youtube a few of their games (watched v. Arkansas, Friday), I think we just have overwhelming talent.
Also, where in the good lord is y'all's faith and fan support? The tickets for the SEC championship this year are the lowest I've seen in the modern era of purchasing tickets on the internet. I don't think I've EVER seen an SEC ticket for sale under $100.00.
If you are an Alabama fan and for any sort of financial reason, have never seen the Tide play in the SECCG, now is your chance to go.
I would say distance is a problem for you guys, and I do understand the nature of the beast concerning short-notice travel, but I've seen Arkansas pack the house twice the years they got there. And Fayettville isn't near ANYTHING on a map.

Yet, all the talk from Bama fans this week has been about Auburn and not about the impending Conference Championship Game that is only days away. What gives? Is this statement inherently false? Is your life really consumed more by Auburn than it is competing for championships? You guys sure do come across as a very fickle bunch.
We will talk about the Auburn game until Saturday then we will show up in droves and make the Dome feel like a home game.

Curry had an extension on his desk but chose to go to UK because of the pressure of the Alabama job. He couldn't take it. When you don't beat Auburn that pressure amps up. He was a bad hire anyway. GA Tech guy.
Auburn is a fine university with a very passionate fan base. Should be proud of it. When yall grow up one day, you may get to the level of Alabama. I know it can be upsetting when you keep playing your dad in basketball in the driveway and he keeps beating you. He will let you score some points, may even let you lead for a while. But invariably he always comes back and beats you. That is the UA/AU relationship. Only in this relationship, UA doesn't get old and decrepit and keeps whipping your candy asses.

Despite the 427 championships they claim, bammer has tons of fans who act like little brothers and these people are consumed by Auburn 24 hours a day

I think SOME Bama fans feel like the SEC Championship is in the bag.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's the impression I get from SOME of them and bot necessarily from this board.
