While Cody is an NT in a 3-4 where he is meant to take up space you are expected to do something from time to time. That said Bama's defense will miss him next year as it will soften them up in the run up the middle, more than they'd like to admit.

The guy is gigantic and is an all American. The guy should straight up dominate regardless if he is a nose tackle or not.

The big time DT in college football can fricking take up double teams and clog up the middle also. They just make more of an impact on the game more than just sitting their fat arse down like Cody. He isn't even in enough shape to play every fricking down either.

An elite DT in college should completely dominate wherever he lines up on the DL.

I have Anders with 4 sacks.

Bama's top sackers are:
Dareus 6.5
Arenas 5.0

He will be a huge bust in the NFL if he doesn't make huge improvements.

I used play by plays from ESpin and SI, Bama's site is incorrect.

RollTide.com and SECSports.com both list Anders with five sacks.

Suh is eating double teams and still getting his numbers. Cody will likely get drafted highly but I don't think he'll earn it at the next level.

Lots of All Americans and Heisman winners are huge busts in the NFL...what difference does that make? This is a college All American team.

I could give a shite what he does in the NFL...to tell you the truth.

Cody has been an important part of Alabama's defense, and I think he's deserving of the accolades people give him. We love to throw out stats, but they are not always the entire story. What about the Texas A&M DE? He had 18.5 sacks, but wasn't on any lists. So, lets be honest, players make these lists because of popularity, and the teams they play for, but its not like their importance, and production for their team doesn't warrant it too.

I would like to know why eating double teams as a 4-3 guy instead of a 3-4 is any different. The result is it free up a LB. The thing is many other elites DT eat double teams, free up LBs, and still load up in the stat department.

Man, I dunno how the so-called NFL scouts can keep their jobs, when you have buttsore Barners on here giving their expert opinions.

4 down instead of 3 makes a difference scheme wise. Cody is a 3-4 NT/NG, Suh is a 4-3 DT, that's like comparing stats of an OLB and a MLB.
