Been trying to tell many of my fellow Auburn brethren that Alex Golesh is the mannnnn.

He has what it takes deep inside his DNA and failure is neverrrrr an option with him and his mindset. He told us and the entire world exactly this in his on field interview after we stunned Georgia.

It’s infectious and just what the Dr. ordered for us to have the very dark cloud(s) removed over our program we love so much.

I love hearing him treat the media so well and goes above and beyond when answering their questions in depth. His football IQ is completely off the charts.

I really enjoyed hearing Gus and former players talk about how well he treats them and welcomes them with open arms. Very humble man that is authentic and absolutely loves people.

He definitely has Pat Dye traits in him. He can rebuild programs, keep on building higher and higher and can get emotional with the best of them. He loves his players hard and coaches them even harder.

I could not be more excited for the future and we should all feel very blessed to have him.

Thank you Coach!!!!

WAR DAMN!!!!!

maybe.

Our QB did practically hand the game over in a way he's never done before.

Wut? He clearly ran into his own center and lost the ball. The announcers made a mistake and corrected it themselves watching the replay. Weird. I guess you were celebrating too much to notice.

He also threw two terrible picks. One missing a wide open receiver by a mile.

Ok man ok

So the Auburn defense had absolutely nothing to do with any of that

Got it.

I mean, if you want to say you forced him to miss a pass he normally makes and throw it to one of your guys, okay.

If you want to say you mesmerized him into running into his center and losing the ball. Okay.

I think he’s going to have to adjust his veer and shoot if we’re going to be competitive long term but I do like the cut of his jib. He is a hard working SOB and his ferocious focus on the process is real and instantiated in everything he does. He has gotten the single worst OL in the SEC to figure out how to play together and take on defenders which I would never thought possible after the Tennessee & Florida games.

His players believe in him, especially after the game in Athens, and that’s a powerful thing. He is running hot so it’ll be interesting to see if he can maintain that white-hot energy through a 9- game SEC schedule without having a heart attack. The dude is intense as frick, and guys like that can burn out quick.

I like him and hope he succeeds. Auburn could use a good coach for a change.

I think Golesh was a good hire, but Auburn fans might want to give it a full season before putting him in the same conversation as Pat Dye. Beating Georgia in Athens is a hell of a start, though. If he can get Auburn winning consistently, I'll be the first to give him credit.

So what you’re saying is UGA failed to perform and lost the game?

That’s the way I saw it
