It marked the second straight year the Crimson Tide had the offensive and defensive players of the year, with DeVonta Smith and Patrick Surtain taking the awards in 2020

Both are very deserved.
I remember some LSU fans, Sidewalk Fan and the goofy dork William Taylor among them, that thought Myles Brennan and/or Max Johson would be as good or better than Bryce Young.
