Half the guys already committed will switch before nsd. Just a glorified reservation.

Dabo built the program on players like Hunter Renfrow.

Lol Dabo won 2 ships from two CFB Hall of Fame QBs (Lawrence and Watkins) and one of the best D Lines in modern CFB history.

Hint: he’s not getting those recruits as regularly lately. And he isn’t keeping his assistant coaches around like he was. The Clemson team today looks a lot different than they did just 3 years ago.

I always get a kick out of turds who don't really follow recruiting or know anything about it showing up here to talk shite based upon their "verbal commits at the moment".

Let me check who my head coach is. Nope, not concerned. But thank you for your interest in the program.

About 12 days later and Alabama has jumped from 38th to #8 in the 247sports recruiting composite . Ranked #3 in On3 recruiting composite.

This is why you don’t do these threads in June and July. But someone always does it anyway.

Alabama has been on a tear for two weeks and it won’t slow down in July. This class may be mostly filled out by Labor Day.

There is virtually no chance Alabama finishes outside the top 5 in recruiting.

Alabama didn't have it's first #1 class until like 2011/12.

Not even close.

Bama signed the #1 class in 2008 and 2009 according to Rivals, which was the leading service back then.

Those classes some good players in them. Maybe you've heard of a few.

Julio Jones
Mark Ingram
Mark Barron
Courtney Upshaw
Barrett Jones
Marcell Dareus
Dont'a Hightower
Terrence Cody
Trent Richardson
Dre Kirkpatrick
Nico Johnson
DJ Fluker
AJ McCarron
Eddie Lacy
Kevin Norwood

It's ridiculous.

Pretty sure Bama signed the #10 class in 2007, #1 in 2008, #1 in 2009, #4 or #5 in 2010, and #1 in 2011 (according to Rivals, whose site appears to have a malware attack going on FYI).

We have the benefit of hindsight now, but Scout and ESPN didn’t have Alabama #1 then. And FWIW, 247 (while it didn’t exist in 2008) has created composite classes going back years. Alabama was ranked #3 in 2008 and 2009.

Sure, but the general consensus was Rivals was at the top of their game, and they had Alabama signing some ridiculous class including three five-stars and 18 four-stars (I'm ballparking here).

Bama was ranked #3 in composite because Scout and ESPN sucked a-hole back then. Rivals was the recruiting authority until Shannon Terry sold them, built 247Sports and took all of Rivals’ best staff members with him. He’s doing the same thing with On3.

I’m just saying we have the benefit of hindsight now. Those Alabama classes were loaded. And most fans felt then they were deeper and better. But there were plenty of doubters at the time. It’s just funny to see the opposite argument all these years later.
