Yep very good read. The problem for Saban is that our RB goup is very talented and deep, and Manziel is even better as a passer/reading the defenses.
Its going to be quite the battle of strategies.

Yes, and why the game should be great. I can't wait to see these two "chess" it out.

We are going to break our foot off in A&M's arse.

Great play, great execution. One we couldn't stop last year. When we played coverage Manziel killed us.
Not many here remember but a guy named Doug Flutie actually played just like this. I went to our game with BC in 1984 and we had 2 or 3 defensive lineman in the backfield every play but Flutie would run sideline to sideline, QB draw, roll out and we simply couldn't tackle him. We lost 35-31. If FLutie doesn't play we win 31-0. Manziel is that important to A&M as well. If you stop Johnny, you stop A&M.

this is the key. when Alabama dared Manziel to beat them throwing against their safeties, he did. Can he do that again? Don't know.

meh, you didn't even post the best gif they had
notice how Swope (slot receiver at top) destroys the press coverage. Then notice how Bama defends that. No flag on the play.

Fortunately, Vinnie won't be covering the slot anymore.

The thing about Alabama this year, is that A&M will actually be facing a D-Line worth a shite. Alabama has seriously not been good on D-Line since 2009. Our d-line is fast, aggressive and is tons better at containing than a year ago.

But probably not as strong against the run.

We'll see. A&M does have incredible strengths at certain positions but their weaknesses far outweigh their strengths

I was referring with emoticons to the fact you provided no insightful thought whatsoever. Instead, you made some typical internet comment.

"We are going to break our foot off in A&M's arse."
We got these kind of comments in good football threads last year also. Then people wonder why A&M posters on this site seem to have an attitude.

By "at certain positions" are you talking anout the whole team or just the offense? Because if you are talking about the whole team, I agree. The defense is an abortion. But the offense doesn't really have weaknesses. We have a great o line, a heisman winning QB whose passing game is vastly improved over last year, one of the best stables of RBs in American college football (2 solid all around guys, a short yardage back who is nails, and a shifty change of pace scat-back), 2 6'5" WRs, one of which is exceptional, a few other WRs who'd start most anywhere, a gigantic TE who is a pancake blocker and has great hands, and a scheme that gives everyone fits. The defense though... ugh.
