It does have to be infuriating hearing 2 loss notre dame crying about being left out while his undefeated 04 team was left out.
Yahtzee!
.... and rightfully so imho.

Texas A&M got snubbed for Notre Dame in the 2020 playoffs. And that's because Notre Dame was in a football conference for that one season and benefitted from a conference championship game - that they lost handily, and conveniently only dropped two spots to exactly #4 despite losing by like 28. Meanwhile, 9–1 A&M stays at #5 since they didn't get to play a conference championship game.
Now the exact same thing happened to them and Alabama gets in instead, and suddenly they have a problem with it. frick Notre Dame.

BAMA didn't bump ND. Miami and the 2 DEI teams did.

Corrected*
But that doesn't really change the point. They benefited from their brand being in a conference in 2020 and decided not to learn a lesson from it. And one of the teams that jumped them beat them head-to-head, so there's no sense in throwing a fit over it. A&M didn't when it happened to them. They played a bowl and dominated it.

He'll never even be the R nominee.
He doesn’t have 2 brain cells to rub together, but he’s such an iron clad lock no serious R candidate is bothering to run against him. In the general, the Ds have trotted out Doug Jones, who lost to Tubbs by > 20 points in the 2020 senate race. Even the few possible candidates they might otherwise field decided to sit it out.
The only way Tubbs isn’t the next Governor is if he somehow catches a felony conviction between now and next November or he dies or is otherwise medically incapacitated.
The silver lining is that at least he’s out of the Senate and Gov is term limited. As a senator, he’d have stayed in office forever embarrassing the state and raking in millions with his insider trading deals the whole time.

He has an enormous amount of donor money, the backing of Donald Trump, and handlers who are too smart to ever put him in a position where he'll have to answer any difficult questions. He's basically guaranteed to win.

You say that as if he's the only one. 95% of the Senators and Representatives do the same thing.

He’s not our Governor, at least not yet. He is one of our U.S. Senators, though.
Kay Ivey is our Governor.

Hes right. Preferential treatment for an average team is stupid.

Anyone who can pass high school government would be a better choice than Tuberville.

Things must really be bad in Washington if a rat like tubs is jumping ship…

When ole cock eyed hucklebee’s hat was thrown in the ring in Arkansas it was a given who would win it. Our voters are the same.

I'd prefer a different R candidate cause he certainly does not have two brain cells, but 1) doesn't matter who the Dems trot out or how much that person lost by previously (would think you'd know that: I imagine Jones will perform better than any other Dem), 2) a felony conviction wouldn't matter one bit.
He can't even get it right about the Dame. Part of their athletics belongs to a conference. Not sure if he understands what their deal is, but doesn't matter.
