Auburn did the same thing in 2010. Transfer QB wins the heisman. An average (at best) head coach, mixed with good assistants. But, LSU hasn’t won the NC yet. AU won it all and guess what? Bama got stronger. Get a grip. AU has beaten Saban’s Bama more than LSU. And it only mattered two times. Enjoy the ride LSU. AU’s 2011 season was brutal.

Bama fans will bump this thread when LSU goes back to losing 3 games a year and Bama rolls off another 8 in a row on LSU

Would it not support your argument for LSU to have a higher rated class right now?

Alabama is going to finish very strong.

Alabama aint going anywhere. Will they keep going at the same clip? Who knows. I doubt anyone is going to pile up a bunch of consecutive victories over Bama anytime soon.

Why don't you act like the young man you have been rooting for? Joe Burrow has been nothing but a Class Act! I suggest you do the same!

I can't see who's #1 in that image. Must have been truncated.

Congratulations on your one-game streak over
Bama---but this is just pathetically sad.

I mean they are still the top dog in the SEC. Until another program can win multiple SEC Titles before they win another one, or unless their program takes a serious nosedive outside the Top 20 or so next year, they are still at the top of the Conference.

Using National Titles first, followed by an SEC Title if there was no SEC National Title that season, here is who was Top Dog in the SEC by year:

2009- Alabama
2010- Auburn
2011- Alabama
2012- Alabama

2013- Auburn
2014- Alabama
2015- Alabama
2016- Alabama
2017- Alabama
2018- Alabama

2019- LSU

2019 is no different than what Auburn did in 2010 and 2013. If anyone can do it two years in a row, then they can claim Top Current Program in the SEC, but that's not easy to achieve.

---

As for being a Dynasty, yes, the Dynasty is over.

2009- Alabama
2010- Auburn
2011- Alabama
2012- Alabama

2013- Florida State
2014- Ohio State
2015- Alabama
2016- Clemson
2017- Alabama
2018- Clemson
2019- ???

If Clemson wins the Title this year or even next year, then there is no doubt we're in the midst of a Clemson Dynasty. But the Alabama Dynasty is for sure over at this point. Two Titles in the previous seven seasons is not worthy of being called a Dynasty.

Two out of the last 4 titles isn’t bad.

Looking at this, I realize how dominant Bama really has been this decade in terms of taking the Top Hardware for the league. It's often masked because LSU won the SEC Title in '11 and Georgia won it in '17, but Bama ultimately won the Natonal Titles those seasons.

I also realize how close Auburn actually was to taking that "Top Program in the SEC" away from Bama in 2014.

They won SEC Titles in 2010 and 2013, the National Title in '10 and made it to the NCG in '13.... In 2014, they were ranked #3 in the Playoff Committee Rankings going into their November 8th game, having just won at the #4 team the week before.... they were ranked ahead of Alabama... seemingly controlling their own destiny for the Playoff.

And then their season fell apart, Bama won the SEC and made the Playoff, and Bama continued on as "Top Program" from the league... which they still hold.
