Your pass rush will be hounds of hell type shite. It's fun to watch. Relentless and his lines flat get after it.

I will say this, his philosophy leaves you VERY vulnerable to screens and delayed running plays.

I mean to be fair he was at Missouri.

If he recruits 3 star guys who turn into 1st rd picks, do you give a damn about their high school rating? I wouldn't

Watch his philosophy change while he's at Bama - NS has a way of bending his coaches to his philosophy.

Then why even hire him? If Saban won't let him run his system then I don't understand the hire.

That's like telling a lion to pretend that he's a duck. That's Saban's main and probably only weakness is being to conservative. He wouldn't allow Kiffin to be Kiffin when he was OC at Bama.

Saban might have 1 more year of supremacy in The SEC before Kirby's reign begins.

I wonder how many times Bama fans have seen this statement appear on this board by any number of SEC teams over the last decade?

Am still a bit salty about Kul. Supposedly wanted the DC title, so he left. Still, that BAMA DL about to be something else. Good Lord

We'll see.

I don't think Saban will react well if his D-Line continually gets gashed by runs between D-linemen focused on getting upfield. Kul's idea of run D is to get around the OLine and tackle people in the backfield. If that does not work, there is not a plan B.

Kul left MU chapped, feeling all disrepected because Pinkel looked somewhere else 3 different times for DC. I'm seeing reports he is leaving Miami chapped because he did not get along with Diaz at Miami. And his recruiting there left something to be desired...
Recruiting troubles in Miami, FL. Wow.
He obviously does not always react well when someone suggests a different approach.

Who's holding the NC rings, Nick or this new coach? Do you think this guy would rather adhere to his own system or learn from the GOAT?

Plan B is being Linebacker U.

That’s an interesting schematic fit. I always felt like Missouri DLs were all about flying upfield and getting penetration, which isn’t really Saban’s style.

Saban takes what's given. Big difference in philosophy between us and the poors.

Post it when it happens else you're going to look really stupid.

I'm sorry, what?

Are you stupid? Kiffin turned a running back into the passing record holder at Alabama.

The difference is that Mizzou does not have the LBs we do. So I can see how easy it can make your team vulnerable. But with our LB corps we can afford to gamble.

Bama's going to win the title again. Cancel the 2018 season. Just send Nick the trophy.

I mean, he's going to do what his HC tells him to do or he won't have a job, but that wasn't my point.

The reason he's been successful is the attacking style his defense plays with, but it certainly has its weaknesses.

If he's not going to be allowed to have his DL play that way then it's a curious hire. That would be like hiring Chad Morris to install a I formation based offense.

If your DL is pinning its ears back and shooting gaps on every play it leaves you vulnerable to screens and delays. It doesn't matter who you're LBs are. It's simple schematics. You'll see, but the thing is the positives outweigh the negatives IMO. You'll get gashed a few times a game by a good play caller. It's going to happen. You live with that if you're leading the SEC in sacks and TFLs. He creates a lot of negative plays for the offense, but the trade off is being vulnerable in a couple of areas.
