I like how LSU fans can rationalize an OBVIOUSLY ILLEGAL punch to the head.

Bama is the one team in the country that is capable of stopping fournette. If he doesn't get a big run they probably keep him below 150 in all honesty. We will have to use the entire playbook to win that game and give Leonard more opportunity to succeed.

regardless of how you feel, you dont see that facemask in the gif? At best that's offsetting penalties

Shut up and learn the rules. Booger was not defenseless. Sorry Rueban hit him so hard and sorry UF was rough on him as well.

He ain't seen nothing yet.

You should learn the rules

quote:

Targeting and Initiating Contact With the Crown of the Helmet
(Rule 9-1-3) No player shall target and initiate contact against an opponent with the crown (top) of his helmet. When in question, it is a foul.

Alabama's defense looks in no way like they'll be able to stop Fournette. Florida was probably the best test he was going to get.

He was being facemasked when he went for that stiffarm. Look at his facemask being dragged down before he retaliates
Does that make it any less of a punch?

He should have been ejected for punching a defender.

We don't have to stop him. We just can't let him beat us. Four netted will get his yards. We just can't let the other running backs and Brandon Harris also go off.

sure it was. The defenders right hand is pulling him by the inside of the shoulder pads and his left arm is dragging. There is no facemask in the clip, just a big left hook from LF

The same way Gumps are rationalizing the obvious missed targeting hit on LF last year?

We are at least acknowledging the possibility of the call. The Gumps are just so far up their arse that they won't accept that possibility, even though his tackle is LITERALLY THE DEFINITION OF TARGETING!

Sorry wasn't targeting. Booger should have protected himself better. He delayed booger out with the part of his helmet from the top half of his face mask to his forehead.

Good clean hit. Tell LF to keep his head on a swivel.

I guess the only comforting thing is the Mets are my second favorite team. I used to go to games when I lived in New York. They were so bad it reminded me of being a Cubs or Saints fan, so now I root for them most of the time.
