Bama has 4 wins against Top 25 teams, Miami has uno. Bama's opponents winning percentage is .622, Miami's is .434.
Bama's Strength of schedule is 16th, while Miami's is 54th.
Doesn't take a genius to figure out which team is more deserving.
If Miami had to play Bama's schedule they'd be lucky to finish above .500.

You were partially correct. There have been a lot of tears concerning Alabama and their still tenuous position for the CFPs.
