At Alabama's best they are pretty even.

At Alabama's worst Georgia is 17-21 pts better.

Alabama hasn’t been at their best the entire season

Not all at once, no, except for possibly the Ole Miss game.

And odds are we won't be at our best on both sides of the ball the rest of the season, either, because it's been 11 games and we've only done it once. But, if we do find a way to do it, then we can beat anybody. The odds of that just aren't great based on what they've put on the field so far.

One unit is up and the other is down. Almost every week.

Georgia should be solidly favored and will be solidly favored. We will see if they can beat the bogey man.

Initial conclusion is both offenses are on par with each other.

Alabama's offense looks prettier, eye-test wise. Young/Williams/Robinson and sometimes Metchie III... they often look like a well oiled unstoppable machine, but then when you look at the metrics, they are on par with Georgia. Georgia's offense isn't as pretty, but still getting the job done with a variety of weapons and putting up comparable stats and points as Bama, vs common opponents. So far.

I think it's more that your offense is less likely to leave points on the field. We probably average 10 points a game we SHOULD have scored and did something dumb (push back outside FG range after driving the field, fumbling near the goal line, etc). Yesterday's game is a good example where our miscues kept a team in the game (we only punted once).

I personally think it's not going to matter much, considering that Georgia will be able to pressure Young without needing to blitz. If we had more balance I'd see us having an outside chance, but we're too one dimensional with the way our OL is performing and injuries at RB.

Golding has been holding back the super secret defensive packages we have been holding back all year.

That depends on the refs and how they call holding. Many refs are of the mindset "yeah there was holding over there, but I don't think it affected the play therefore I'm not going to flag it". And once it gets subjective like that, the sky is the limit on how many bad no-calls for holding will keep a Bama drive alive. I don't even hate you for it. I hope we get the same treatment. I forget the coach who said it, but it's "I'd rather be lucky than good".

Georgia fans will talk substantially more shite than Alabama fans. And we will wait for the result.

My analysis is that the transitive property doesn't always apply... Especially when the underdog coach happens to be Nick Saban..

Gotta be.
Anyone who says "da fug" is either retarded or under 19 years old. Or both.

And he names himself "FahQue" like he's getting away with writing "fart" with the mini-pencil in the hymnal at church.

The way to play UGA is make them throw the ball more than they want to. Not when they want to.

Load the box and don't let that runt QB hurt you running the ball. Get them in long yardage and once again don't let the runt hurt you running the ball. Their WR's are not game breakers, they are good but picking my poison I go man on them.

On offense it's fly the friendly skies. Alabama throws it best, so throw it. Make them defend vertically as well as side to side, protect the passer and count on your receivers to be better than their DB's.

Who is Bama’s backup? He comes in the second half and scores no touchdowns. 24-10. HBTFD.
