I thought they said Dreamland was gone in T-town.

Most the damage reports are centered around 15th and McFarland, in Midtown. I haven't heard anyone actually say other parts of the city were heavily damaged, other than wild rumors.

I haven't seen pictures of that part of mcfarland but if its like the others it isnt there anymore.

My dad parked a mile away from midtown and walked to it. He said the best buy and buildings behind it were partially spared somehow.

Hey errbody. All is safe in Northport. The town took a lot of damage today. A buddy of mine from work has a tree in the middle of his house. Another friend that I worked with at another job has not been heard from. He was working when the building was demolished. I am glad that I'm safe and that ally family is also but my heart hurts tonight for those that were killed and injured today. If youve been to Tuscaloosa before you would not recognize the McFarland / 15th street area. It looks like a war zone. I know we pick and fuss over sports on here but life is far too fragile and important to let sports get us in a twizzy.

I lost cable today and couldn't find a radio so the secrant really came through for me today. I didnt know what was going on and where it was headed but you guys were my eyes and ears and for that I am truly thankful.

So those of you who are praying folks just remember all of those that lost so much today throughout our state.

Except for a little wind. Yeah, I don't think there will be any storms in South Georgia tonight.

Yeah, I'm over in Cordele, and Lake Blackshear was pretty crazy today, but there hasn't been a drop of rain or anything.

Hope it stays away, but there's a 70% chance of severe storms sometime tonight.

Absolutely nauseating. Uncle who works as EMS in T-town says it will be in the hundreds easily.

Yep and no more steak out either. Had some great take out times from there.

I hope these reports of hundreds dead arent true. Thatd be the worst possible scenario.

Has a major tornado ever touched down in an urban area like this before?
