I can't even fathom that. I can't see any scenario where at least some people won't make it out of that alive. Really, really hoping for the best. I have a cousin at UA and hope she's OK.
I hate to be trivial but I'm really bummed that the Midtown Village and University Mall not to mention Central High school got devastated. Those developments were fantastic additions to Tuscaloosa in recent years and now it's all gone in a matter of seconds.

Checking in from Northport. We are fine and even have power.
We haven't had decent cell service all day long though. So people are freaking out trying to get a hold of family and friends. I don't think it's just Verizon though. Pretty much everybody.
I'm about to have to do something really, really tough though. A friend in Bham had a sister working at Midtown. They can't get a hold of her and I guess me and the wife are going to go down there.
Say a quick prayer for her and her family. I'll try to update as soon as possible.

Montgomery is under Tornado Warning and my power is going off and on. Should be getting hammered within the hour.
