This is an upgrade, that Oregon squad was very physical and athletic

Oregon wasn't anywhere as physical as an average SEC Team. He had over a year to improve that teams strength and conditioning, and they really didn't match up well with AU other than at the AU OL vs UO DL. And AUs OL was their weakest position. I do not think he would maintain the status quo at Bama.

Oregon never stood out as a physical team to me. The only real physical guy they had was Thibodeaux - but he is just a freak.

I don’t see Uncle Pennybags (or anyone else) being able to match Scott Cochran’s passion and work ethic!

The end is not just near - the end is here.

As bad as AUs OL was at times last year, we still rushed for over 200 yards. If AU could have played 12 teams as physical as Oregon last year, they would have been 12-0. They barely had 300 total yards of Offense, even with a Top 10 NFL Draft pick at QB.

Let’s for sure start a thread anytime our team may be potentially interviewing off the field coaches.

We would put it on the Coaching Changes board but someone took it down after they got upset with the hire for PGC.

Oregon was a lot more physical compared to what they have been. Obviously weren’t SEC physical.....but what team from another conference is(other than Ohio State and Clemson)?

Different type of athletes.

With comparable athletes, Oregon ran over the Pac 12.

Needless to say, he'll have better athletes at Alabama. Light years better.

The common theme in every Oregon game last year were announcers saying there was a noticeable difference in their strength and physicality.

Feld is a 2020 version of Scott Cochran.
The problem was in 2019, Scott Cochran was still the 2009 version of Scott Cochran.

I'm talking middle of the pack SEC Teams. Oregon looked physical against weak Pac 12 teams, but Ole Miss was more physical and created more problems for AU than Oregon. I was surprised by how well AU matched up against them, because the hype going in was Oregon was going to be a very physical team.

Telling you the truth and not from your buds crimson colored glasses. IF you doubt me , look at the OU-AU game stats.

I remember Oregon controlling the 1st 55 minutes of that football game and moving the ball at will on Barn until the 4th Quarter

I guess you didn't understand.

Pac 12 doesn't have the type of athletes the SEC does. So obviously there's a difference with AU.

When Oregon went up against comparable types of athletes to them in the Pac 12, they railroaded them.

Our 1st Time Starting Freshman QB threw 2 INTs and we fumbled a ball to kill any drives. But physically we pushed them around all night. Like I said, had over 200 yards rushing and they knew we were going to run the ball with a FR QB.

Speaking of 55 minutes - didn’t LSU lead A1abana for the final 55 minutes in TuscaLousy?

Can I get a big ole ooooooof! ?

They beat WSU 35-37, Stanford 21-6 and Lost to ASU 31-28. That isn't railroading anyone and seems like a normal Pac 12 season. Their QB made them dangerous, physically they were not much different than A&M or Ole Miss.
