You're contradicting your own argument. Bama has proven they are better by beating SC straight up. You're saying SC is most deserving bc "they're hot right now".
There is literally not a single metric out there that says SC is better - it's just "muh feels".

Yes there is. Recency.
You can't lose in the 13 week of the season, by 3 touchdowns to Oklahoma and call your self better than SC.
One team has gotten better thru the season, one has gotten worse.

You can do what ever you want - if you have the same record & a h2h win then yes you can most certainly say you are a better team.
