Alabama's done for. They simply don't have the big corporate money that other schools have.

Actually, though, The University of Alabama system is the 4th ranked in the SEC in terms of public university endowments, behind 8&4feit, UF, and Missouri. If UA supporters will spend it on academics, they'll absolutely contribute to athletics. For that matter, they've been accused of it for years.
