I keep reading posts from Gumps about Miles following Saban to Bama. I guess Gumps have finally realized what a great Coach we have at LSU. And yes, he is an upgrade from Saban.

Don't forget that they got a baseball coach with LSU ties too.

I woudn't try to say he's an upgrade from Saban, that being said on Saturdays I don't have any less confidence in Miles than i did in Saban.

Alabama is trying to be LSU
Head coach Nick Saban was at (LSU), defensive coordinator Kirby Smart (LSU), defensive line coach Bo Davis (LSU), linebackers coach Sal Sunseri (LSU), tight ends coach and special teams coordinator Bobby Williams (LSU) and strength coach Scott Cochran (LSU).

So you're admitting they brought LSU out of the cellar and Miles is STILL riding the train those guys built.
Glad you stepped up.

Sure, but it should be noted that Miles won more with Saban's players than Saban did.

It should also be noted that Miles never had to try and win with DiNardo's players.

They conveniently overlook little tid-bits like this.

Gumps don't like to admit Dinardo was a good recruiter. How do you think Saban won the SEC in his 2nd year at LSU if it wasn't with Dinardo's players.

Dinardo layed the foundation of the fence when Kevin Faulk chose LSU.

Looks Like Bama is winning with LSU's coaches.

Alabama:
Head coach Nick Saban (LSU),
defensive coordinator Kirby Smart (LSU),
defensive line coach Bo Davis (LSU),
linebackers coach Sal Sunseri (LSU),
tight ends coach & special teams coordinator Bobby Williams (LSU)
strength coach Scott Cochran (LSU).

I guess if you want to win championships like LSU, you have to have coaching like LSU. Literally.
